Volunteers needed for Medford boards & commissions
From the Welcome Committee to the Council on Aging to Traffic volunteers are needed to fill vacancies across a number of boards.
Want to get involved in the community, but not sure how? You have at least 13 chances.
Multiple boards and commissions are seeking to fill vacancies and Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn is urging everyone to apply.
“Becoming a member of one of the city’s boards or commissions is a great way to be more engaged and involved with so many important projects and policies throughout the city,” she said.
Residents who are interested in serving on any of the boards and commissions listed below should complete the Board and Commission Interest Form available at medfordma.org/boards-commissions.
If you are in need of a physical form, stop by the Mayor’s Office at Medford City Hall, 85 George P. Hassett Drive, Room 202.
In addition to the boards and commissions below, residents are always encouraged to submit letters of interest for any board of commission listed on our website. Should vacancies become available on any city board or commission in the future, we will contact you for opportunities within your area of interest.
Residents of all backgrounds and abilities are invited to apply and not just for the vacant seats listed below. According the Lungo-Koehn’s office, residents are always encouraged to submit letters or interest for any board or commission listed on the website. If vacancies become available in the future, the mayor’s office will contact residents within their area of interest.
“It can be a big commitment but is also tremendously rewarding to see your work valued and supported,” Lungo-Koehn said. “I encourage everyone to apply.”
