APRIL 25

What: Veterans Coffee & Cookie Hour

Where: Council on Aging, 101 Riverside Ave.

When: Friday, April 25, 10 a.m.

Cost: Free

More Info: Join the Medford Veterans Services Director on the fourth Friday of each month at the Senior Center. Senior veterans, spouses, widows/widowers are all welcome. 

APRIL 26

What: Celebrate Indie Bookstore Day 

Where: The Moon and Back Bookstore, 458 High St.

When: Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost: Free 

More Info:  Moon and Back Bookstore will celebrate its first Indie Bookstore Day Saturday. There will be raffles, freebies, and a few surprises in store! And don't forget to stay for storytime at 2:30 p.m.

What: Clean out your medicine cabinet for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Where: Drop off; Medford Police Department, 100 Main St.

When: Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Cost: Free

More Info: Time to clean out that medicine cabinet, bedside table and any place else you stash prescription drugs and take outdated or unused prescriptions to the Police, no questions asked. 

What: Maker Space Drop In

Where: Medford Public Library, 111 High St.

When: Saturday, April 26, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Cost: Free

More Info: For adults and teens 16+. Stop by the Medford MakerSpace and work on a personal project or ask the in-house expert about how to use the space and equipment. 

What: Earth Day and Night

Where: Great American Beer Hall, 142 Mystic Ave.

When: Saturday, April 26, 1 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Cost: Whatever you eat and drink

More Info: Celebrate Earth Day with GABH. There will be live music, art, a diverse audience all emphasizing eco-consciousness while raising money for The Clean Water Fund. For more information and to RSVP go to The Great American Beer Hall | Live Music & Events.

What: Paint the Ice

Where: LoConte Rink, 97 Locust St. 

When: Sunday, April 26, 10 a.m. - 12 noon

Cost: $5

APRIL 27

What: 3rd Annual Arabic Heritage Festival

Where: Brooks Elementary School, 388 High St.

When: Sunday, April 27, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Cost: Free but register at Arab-American Heritage Month Festival 2025

More Info: Join in with some traditional Arabic dancing, music, food, henna art and much more!

APRIL 28

What: Learn About Invasive Plants

Where: Bellevue Pond, South Border Rd. 

When: Monday, April 28, 8:30 a.m.

Cost: Free

More Info: Join Friends of the Fells and Earthwise Aware at Bellevue Pond to monitor and learn about the infamous "Invasive Plants" in Massachusetts. The walk will be about 3 hours long at a slow pace over rocky terrain, with frequent stops to observe the natural environment. APRIL 29

What: Trivia Night

Where: Medford Brewing Company, 30 Harvard Ave.

When: Tuesday, April 29, 7 p.m. - 9p.m.

Cost: Free

More Info: Get your friends and head to Trivia Night where teams of 2-6 will compete in a traditional 6 round Trivia Quiz. Prizes will be awarded to the top scoring teams. Trivia will start at 7 p.m. and you must be 21+ to attend. 

What: Adult Board Game Night

Where: Medford Public Library, 111 High St.

When: Tuesday, April 29, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Cost: Free

More Info: The library will have a selection of board games or bring your own! The night is for adults and drop ins are welcome, no registration required.
