March 21

March 22

Voluntary Trail Work with Friends of the Fells

Where: Flynn Rink Parking lot, 300 Elm St.

When: Saturday, March 22, 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Cost: Free

More Info: Volunteers will be cleaning stone steps, relaying riprap rocks, gather and placing large and smaller rock we two sets of rock steps and a footbridge are repaired. Dress warmly, where sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle and either a pick or a shovel if you have one. Additional tools will be supplied. More info: New runners welcome! No registration needed just  meet in front of the brewery at 11 a.m., choose from the 3, 5 or 7 mile loops, Taproom opens at noon with cold beer waiting for you at the finish. Coats and bags can also be left inside.

More Info: Over 40 vendors will be selling trading cards, sports cards, memorabilia and collectibles. Breakfast available at the GABH in-house restaurant starting at 10 a.m., alcoholic beverages available starting at 11 a.m.

Spring’s Here: Guided Nature Walk at Bellevue Pond

Where: Bellevue Pond, South Border Road

When: Monday, March 24, 9:15 a.m.

More Info: Moderate to easy walk around Bellevue Pond and surrounding area, including Wright’s Tower looking and listening for signs of spring. The guide will focus on plant identification, some natural history, folklore and science. Meeting spot is the parking lot across from 70 South Border Road and please leave all furry friends at home.
